The issue with these is that more and more airports are moving toward a single common stock for all carriers. In addition, the boarding pass printers are usually thermal, meaning single color (typically black). They are also not incredibly high resolution. Additionally, they use a layout system called a PECTAB: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/michael.mcclellan/entmv/Help/EntmvGloss.html#PECTAB
For all of these reasons, it's not as easy as it could be.
