U.S. lifts ban on travelers with HIV or AIDS
For the past 22 years, if you had HIV or AIDS and weren't American, you couldn't enter the U.S.That changed today as President Obama lifted the ban. Since the Obama administration is planning to host the 2012 World Aids Conference, the change in policy was necessary.
The biannual conference naturally includes many people living with HIV and AIDS, and barring their entry would have been bad PR for an administration that wants to be seen as a global leader in the fight against the disease
There are only ten countries that now ban people with HIV/AIDS from entering. They are: Brunei, China. Equatorial Guinea, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, Russia, Singapore, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
According to the website hivtravel.org, some of these countries allow people to enter under "special circumstances". Some other countries not on the list put restrictions on people living with HIV/AIDS but not full bans.

Now they can come here, looking healthy and have sex with our people and explode this disease even more.
I know in New York, GLAD lobbied politicians not to disclose who had the disease, even pregnant women who unknowingly contracted the disease and passed it on to their new born was not allowed to be told that their babies contracted the disease or that they themselves had it. Some even had more babies and passed it to even more innocent children, all this so that we wouldn't able to know that some gay men and bi-sexual men were carrying this deadly disease. Thousands died because of this policy.

If you have no money you get on medicaid and you are treated. Remember there are tons more people with HIV/AIDS outside the US than here. They have just been taken off the no fly list. A couple years ago a friend of mine in San Francisco who is a government worker, said that her Latino, gay co-workers were telling all of their friends in Central and South America to come here for free medical care for their AIDS. They were told that they would be set up with attorneys to help them access their rights. I imagine that if you could get enough people in with AIDS, you could probably spend in the trillions and overwhelm the medical centers. This is another method of spreading the wealth globally.

I feel this is a "grave" mistake. We have now endangered the US even more so. This causes me great concern. This does not hurt our PR as it states. That's a bunch of crap. Other countries are losing so much respect for us because of this Administration. We are a joke. This is a sad state of affairs for us as a nation. I feel it will only invite more trouble to us. The current administration has no idea how certain people will use this as a "germ" warfare against us. Forget out bombs, just infect us.
