Drove in England and Ireland for business travel. Thank goodness car was automatic each time. Took several hours to get used to always looking the OTHER way. Good for you for trying. Many of my co-workers flat out refused to do it. My employer did not allow many of the Irish employees to drive in the US. There were several accidents here.
Left my passport at the hotel and boss handed me keys to diesel stick shift car in Germany. Hadn't driven a stick in 15 years. Longest...10 miles...ever...
