Ivana Trump forced off Palm Beach flight
What does Ivana Trump dislike about airplanes more than peanut packets or lines outside the lavatory? Children running around, making noise in the aisles.
That's what threw her over the edge on her Delta flight departing Palm Beach Airport yesterday.
Originally what made he upset was something about her first-class seat in the LaGuardia-bound plane. Flight attendants tried to calm her by offering her another seat and headphones. Then, it was the children running up and down the aisles that really made her angry.
The way that sources tell it, she turned belligerent and swore up a storm at everybody around her -- the kids, the adult passengers, and even the sheriff's deputies who asked her to voluntarily get off the plane.
She put up a fuss, then finally gave in and deplaned -- only after the airline offered to let her fly on a later flight.
All told, the plane had to return to the gate and the scene caused a two-hour delay.

I'm with Ivana. I'm a mom. Just flew a 10 hour flight from Italy to NY with screaming kids. Why can't parents teach their kids manners? Or better yet, don't fly with babies or young children until they are old enough to be quiet and not disrupt others. WHY should PAYING passengers have to listen to SCREAMING children for 10 hours while confined to an airplane? Why do parents have more rights than other passengers? Why? I taught my children manners. A few months ago on a Southwest flight, an unruly child and her mother were removed for this very reason. Common sense should govern here. The rights of a few should not supercede the majority of the paying passengers on the flight. SHUT UP or get off.

This was a safety issue . The cabin crew should have done their jobs / Im ex FAA . I was flying home from Oklahoma City on TWA . We were cruising along and 2 young children were running around the cabin. I was seated opposite the galley in the rear when one of the children about 6 years of age went in and began playing with the handle of the exit door. With 2 attendants in the galley doing nothing to stop her. I said to them these 2 children belonged in there seats and I got a rather smart alec answer back that it was OK and she isn't strong enough to move the door handle . My partner next to me spoke up and said . You are aware that the entire back half of this plane is occupied by FAA people right . Well the look of shock on their faces was priceless , they took the kids to take them back to their seats when the father shows up and says why are you bothering my child. I guess when you think your job is going to be toast your perspective changes because not only did they put the kids back in their seats , they also made the father sit down and told him You will not let these children out of their seats till we land . I really didn't want to find out if she was strong enough to move the door handle. would you ?

Who wants to bet if Ivana Trump got an FAA warning? I'll bet not. Well, she didn't ask for orange juice, first of all.
