Loved this article, Stephen. The landscape and close-up subject shots provided rich depth to the narrative - helping the reader feel almost being embedded in that place and time. I've never been to Madagascar but this seems like a great place for volunteerism. Just a quick note apropos your earlier story on ToughStuff - socially conscious world travelers like yourself should NEVER shy away from advocating (culturally, socially or environmentally) positive issues via your blogs, regardless of whether those are private commercial enterprises or simply good individuals/activists in 'unfriendly' countries. Readers like me might have never known about the incredible ToughStuff movement had it not been for your blog. Keep your stories coming! - Nick.
