I have not read much on this site but I can echo and verify the reviewers impression of this Epson 810. I recently purchased this printer. I am a professional reprographer (20 years) specializing in digital imaging. Our shop has several HP, Oce and Canon printers. My family uses this printer at home and after two weeks we are very impressed with the ease of use and speed. The touch screen and Wi-Fi really make this a stand out from our other multi-functions at home...HP, Canon and Brother. The touch screen provides the user with a very intuitive interface and simplifies the operation with each screen offering only relevant options to select. My family is usually satisfied with the prints from all of the devices but often finds scanning functions cumbersome and confusing. The 810 allows for quick and easy scanning with emailing and faxing capabilities. The wife and kids no longer require my help when they need something scanned. My wife is technically challenged but has no problem operating all of the main functions. With all ink jets I find paper has a major impact on the end result. The six inks allows for superior color output with a wider gamut when compared to printing four color as is typically found in most others. This, our first Epson, is now our favorite. Though not a complaint, we wish the drawer had more capacity and that it provided a stack feeder as a second paper source (but we would not want to lose the duplexer). Available for under $200 I think it offers an outstanding value and is the one for other manufacturers to beat.
