Brian Taylor - British Naturism said...
This really is a step back-wards for civilisation from one of the most prudish nations in the world. Ok, you might not like being called prudish, but there is no other word for it. What is so wrong with the human body that we have to hide it away? We all have them and they come in all shapes and sizes, just like nudists. We may all wish we could have bodies like the models used in the media, but we don't and naturism teaches us that and so builds confidence.
The problem is that too many people fail to disconnect nudity from sex - nudity does not equal sex, it equals freedom. If you want a connection between nudity & sex, let me explain one: Nations where nudity is accepted as a natural part of life have much lower rates of teenage pregnancy, abortions and STI's.
Those who are seeking to ban nudity on San Onofre State Beach should be made to stand in front of ten pregnant (US) teenagers and a tell them that in Denmark nine of them wouldn't be there. That's the strongest connection between nudity and sex there is.
