My husband and I through many years of traveling made it a commitment to be the last people off the plane. That meant we made it to the luggage area after everyone else who had raced there. By traveling slowly we were not exhausted or frustrated seeking our luggage. Also by being there later we had a chance to talk with people also taking there time and staying calm.
It is truly amazing how many people you can meet standing quietly in line, walking in the park, and just strolling around looking at small shops along the way. People are always glad to talk about almost anything. It works even better if you have a dog with you!
Take a chance on the Albuquergue airport. We had some of the best Mexican food we have ever eaten there and we are still telling people about it.
