I was pleased with Chris's e-book. It offers some good strategies--and helps travelers divert from airline-induced frenzies on how best to collect and redeem miles.
These days, you have to be one step ahead of carriers intent on diluting, devaluing and deleting your miles if you don't use them in 15 minutes. HA.
The follow-on documents I've received (I bought the whole $79 package) include some bidding info on Priceline (helpful--but I use different strategies), as well as some good, actionable items on RTW and Circle Pacific itineraries.
I have 25 years in the travel business. I'm an avid traveler and a super-frequent flyer. I'm thinking of doing an Alaska "sidebar" to Chris's work for those of us who live in the Last Frontier.
I agree with Grant--most of the info is available elsewhere for free. But I want to encourage Chris in his efforts to get more people to look at the entire FF ecosystem as a sweet spot for savings. www.alaskatravegram.com
