Denver to Singapore (and back) visualized in a five minute time lapse video
Denver to Singapore (in 5 minutes) from David DAngelo on Vimeo.
Check out this cool video showing a trip from Denver to Singapore via Chicago, Los Angeles and Tokyo (and back). The creator put a ton of effort into filming as much of his trip as possible, and included some highlights like the automatic beer machine at the Tokyo lounge (at 3 minutes 50 seconds). The whole thing is quite dizzying, but it is a great way to show a long trip in just five minutes!

This has to be the most creative travel video I've ever seen! I first thought this was going to be one of those time-lapse video thing, but this approach of putting stills together was also great!

Sadistic! Leave from Denver on the oct 29th return from Singapore on the Nov 2nd...Still cool video would love to know what camera he wore around his neck to do this.

Looks like you stayed at the Oriental (nice place) and visited Sim Lim Square... electronics aren't as cheap here as you would have expected eh?
The MRT (subway) in Singapore is nice (I've heard... I've been here 4 yrs and still haven't been on it once.)
If you come back, Look me up and I'll buy you a beer.

Thanks man! Will look you up for sure. Yes, besides being an absolutely amazing place, the prices at Sim Lim were not that great. But - I also think where it pays off is not looking for mainstream digital cameras and stuff, but in the obscure - like a Blu-Ray Burner!
You are right, it was the Marina Mandarin - decent place for sure. MRT was spotless! Very impressive - except for the weird signs that had that strange dude with the curly hair - I'm guessing he's a celeb in Singapore!
Cheers,
David

Cool project, thanks for sharing. How was the pig's organ soup?
David DAngelo Nov 5th 2009 5:01PM
Glad you are stoked on it!
I wimped out on the Pig Organ soup. . . It has the longest line of all the stalls - and an expat said it was the best, but I couldn't do it. Next time. . .
Cheers,
Dave

Exquisite! Love the blur of colors...not unlike the feeling you actually get traveling over such great distances. I must know what this music is...it's absolutely incredible. Can you give me a hint?

Hi - the guy's name is Quantic - and the song is 'Not So Blue' - it's killer.
