Hey Adam
I studied at El Nahual in Xela. This school is a non-profit, all the money the language school makes goes to fund a community school where you can volunteer and teach the children / adults English and Art. It's a really fun time. I only planned on doing a few weeks and ended up staying months! Their website is www.elnahual.org
Xela is a great town with access to lots of other places via bus. I learnt how to Salsa too!
Sure you'll have an amazing time wherever you decide to go.
Adios
Rachel
