However, Kent, the commercial with your dad was a hoot too! Your father is the distinguished airline captain, and then to see the duck in the left seat was amusing..:-)

After a long hiatus, the 'duck' called me tonight after reading this. He wanted me to set the record straight. He's a Canada Goose.

He has a hard time typing, so he asked me to let you know.

It seems he's had a rough career over the past 20 years. After Wien, he went to work for Eastern, then Pan Am, People Express and most recently, Skybus. Apparently he hasn't had very good luck when choosing his employers.

He's found a golf course with a nice pond in the Seattle area where he's headed to retire. It's finally time to hang up the goggles!

I don't blame him Kent! Skybus would have been the final straw for any goose! I would have shook my tail feather and plopped into the peaceful pond as well!
