If eating a Kosher meal, or any other specialty meal is THAT important to you...and to many people it is, you should bring your own. These are airplanes. Not restaurants. You are seated in a metal tube, 5 miles above the ground, at 500 MPH. Food really shouldn't be a major concern. Getting to your destination should be the focus.

Don, people do have "food issues" don't you know. For example I have Crohn's and can only eat certain foods. Meat is limited to me, No veggies at all, no caffeine, no chocolate, no nuts, i could keep going, but i think you get my point. If not, well, then think about this, not all airports provide enough choices to support my medical issue, and not every plane allows previously bought food on board. People have to eat, so getting to the destination is not always the first thing on my mind, especially when airplanes are, after all, the safest way to travel. Food is important, not everyone can eat what you eat, and not everyone can go an entire trip without eating, ex: diabetics, or people like me who are already in enough pain, not eating only adds to that pain. So think about that next time you decide to comment.

You see, the problem here is this.....IF they have a Kosher Meal (and I BRING MY OWN), they have to have a sea food meal, and salt free, and low carb, and low etc, etc, etc. The airlines cater to the masses, and those of us who require or desire as special meal, including Emily, have to look out for ourselves. These are airplanes, and not restaurants. That is the only way to keep the fares reasonable. Just take care of #1 when it comes time for in-flight meals. Their food stinks anyway :) We can't expect the flight attendants to tuck-us-in before our nap.

Seriously Emily. If you have food "issues" you likely are not and certainly should not, eat food on airlines. Even if they offer the type of food I eat I'm still bringing my own because the quality will be "airline" quality.
