Great post Kraig.
Every time I read one of those "go before they're gone" posts, I think about this. By encouraging more people to go see these areas that are being affected most by climate change, are we contributing to their demise? Is it selfish to want to see them "before they're gone" and is there a way we can do that doesn't make us part of the problem?

And you've hit the nail right on the head. We all want to visit these amazing places, and we don't always think about the effects we're having on those places. That is changing, but in some cases, a lot of damage has already been done, and I do think that when things aren't handled properly, we are definitely a big part of the problem.
