Recently I was on a flight to Las Vegas and the gate attendance announced that we would be leaving 30 minutes late. He then followed that announcement by saying, "I am sure you have arrived early on other Southwest flights. So let's call it even."
I couldn't believe it. It was funny to him as he didn't have to arrive to Vegas yet another 30+ minutes late for a business trip.
I thought it would be an excellent example of the irony of humor by the employers that really annoy the customers.
