A tilt-shifted day in the life of Disney's "The Magic Kingdom"
There are thousands of videos posted to the Internet each day - but every now and then you come across one that just makes your jaw drop. Such is the case with the Disney video published above.
October 1st was the Magic Kingdom's birthday, and to celebrate, Disney shot a video showing a day in the life of the Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World. This isn't just any boring old video - it was shot using "tilt shifting", which gives the whole thing a really nifty appearance.
Click play, and see for yourself how awesome the effect is, and how amazing a day in the life of the park looks. Make sure to hang around till the end of the clip for a special greeting from some Disney characters.
If you like the tilt shift effect, then check out this post from back in May, describing how you can take your own photos and add a similar effect.

Cinderella's castle is at Disney World. Sleeping Beauty's castle is at Disney Land :)
I really enjoyed this video. It was a great reminder of why I am so grateful that my parents can afford to take my brother and me there every other year at Christmas, when we visit our family in Florida. Dad is retired military, so we're very fortunate to be able to stay at Shades of Green and get military discount tickets.

Great video...amazing how we each have our own thoughts as we walk thru the doors of Magic Kingdom when this video portrays that so many of us actually probably have the same thoughts. I own a timeshare right outside the park, and have gone several times...first time on my honeymoon with no children to accompany us. So, I have to say, one doesn't need to have children present to enjoy themselves in any of the Disney parks. I love just walking down Main St. It makes me feel like a kid again. It always brings tears to my eyes. And, I'm always so amazed how clean the parks always are too. Wishing all of you who have an opportunity to travel there, a great time and great memories.
