Airports say no to sexy Pamela Anderson PETA commercial
'Cruelty Doesn't Fly'-Learn More at PETA.org.
PETA - the organization that fights for animal rights, is in the news again. This time, it is because one of their commercials has been banned from airport TV's.
The animal rights fighters created a TV spot featuring Pamela Anderson, with the purpose of trying to convince people not to wear animal products. Their message is that "Cruelty doesn't fly", and that wearing skins, fur, leather or wool is not OK.
I can understand their objections to fur or exotic skins, but wool? Seriously? As is usually the case with PETA, they paint a pretty gruesome picture of how animals are treated.
According to PETA, they had planned to run the ad on CNN airport edition, but were told that it was "too racy" - watch the video above, and let us know in the comments whether you think it is appropriate to be played on airport TV's.

Yep, see...If PETA had their way, we would ALL be running around in only cotton underwear and cotton shirts like Pamela. But, wait! Isn't cotton harvested and cotton clothes manufactured by underpaid, overworked, mistreated workers (treated like animals) in fields and sweatshops? Now PETA must ban wearing cotton! OH, NO! Thanks to PETA, we cannot wear anything...must run around naked! PETA, GET A LIFE!

Why is everyone freaking out about this? Your kids see worse on prime time commercials. And if you are not willing to explain the point of this to your three year old, then how are you ever going to teach them about other life lessons? I don't really care who made the commercial...it could have been for Kraft cheese and still raised these issues. Get a grip, people.

Louis, why would say what I said was stupid. Below is a portion of Genesis 1.
I am not a Bible thumper, but I remembered this from my sunday school classes.
Try reading it in it's entirety, then retract what you said about me! ! ! !

26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

Pam - those aren't (gasp) LEATHER gloves you're wearing, are they sweetie? What about the cosmetics containing animal products? Shoes? Furniture? (cricket, cricket...) - I thought so.

There is barely a reason to take PETA seriously.

There are plenty of videos to educate yourself on the actualities of what they stand for versus what they do.
This ad is unnecessary and way over the top. The whole idea presented in the video to get their point across is juvenile. And using Pamela Andersen and some muscular guy-- get a little creative PETA, try again next time.

Like everything else PA does, this is childish, stupid and lame. PETA needs to realize that the game is over and no one really gives a shit about their "campaign."
In fact, PETA kills over 90 percent of the animals it claims to "save," and has even purchased a walk-in freezer to store the carcasses of their "saved" animals.
Time for PETA to find another cause - this one has run its course.

Pam is a very sexy woman, but I am SO sick of her complaints about animal rights. Look, Pam, just because dad dressed a deer when you were a kid and it traumatized YOU, doesn't mean you get to tell the rest of us how to live. This is true even if you do look good naked. Tell you what, Pam....just as soon as I see a lioness seem guilty about running down the weakest of the herd, i'll feel bad about my cheeseburger. I'd bet your sons sneak cheeseburgers when they visit their friends.

Looks like Pamela Anderson is hard up for cash!!! How much did PETA pay her? That money could have been used for the critters that they are supposed to protect! No more donations to PETA for me for sure!!! Must be government bureaucrats running this organization!!!

Doesn't she have hepatitis? Why would anyone sleep with her?

If this was distributed to movie house in would carry an R rating. So how would you keep this away from the eyes of minors in an airport?
