Hi, I thoroughly enjoyed reading your detailed description of the SLS Hotel. I stayed there in July and had the most amazing time. I completely agree with everything that you say in your post, especially about the pool. We went up to the pool on Saturday morning at 11:30 and it was packed with L.A. posers. These people clearly didn't belong to the hotel, as they were with their posses drinking and having a bit of a party. They were in the cabanas by the pool, so even when we saw one available, we couldn't sit there as it had been 'reserved'. Anyway, we went to a member of the pool staff and said that we wented a bed. The guy looked at a loss and disappeared! We then found someone else, and this person discovered that one hotel guest was hogging a few beds. So that freed up some beds for us, which were happened to be in the pool, which was pretty cool! All I can say, is that if you are planning on going to the pool in the weekend, make sure you get there early. I have written a post on the SLS, and took loads of photos, including the beds in the pool. Feel free to take a look! www.philippestarckdesigns.com
