Sex on the beach? Be prepared to pay up!

Heading abroad? Think twice before you have sex on the beach (or anywhere else in public), because the penalties for being caught could mean the difference between one heck of a night, or 2 years in jail.

A German travel review site compiled a list of the various countries, and how they deal with people caught in the act:

Sweden: €50
Italy: €300 plus up to 2 years in prison
Croatia: €150 plus up to 30 days in prison
Romania: Up to 7 years in prison
Spain: Up to €75,000 (average fine is €700)
Thailand: Up tp $750
Turkey: €200 and up to 2 months in prison
Egypt: Up to 3 years in prison
Denmark: Up to 4 years in prison
France: €15,000 and up to one year in prison
Greece: Up to 2 years in prison

So, now you know which countries to avoid if you plan to have sex in public! Some major tourist destinations have added manpower to their police force with the sole purpose of catching couples in the act. The Spanish party island of Ibiza issues an on-the-spot fine of €700 ($1000) if you get caught, which obviously puts a major dent in your vacation budget.

Depending on who you get caught having sex with....If she is a married woman you could end up being stoned to death in public.

Don't go and do it in remote public areas....like the woods, I did that once and got poison oak on parts of my body that wouldn't usually be exposed. The doctor's bills were almost as bad as some of the fines that are listed.

In Bimini it cost a friend of my sisters who got caught $6000 and 3 weeks in jail for both of them.

Despite the fact that I haven't had sex yet, (no I'm not a teen, I'm 24), I'd have to say that it's pretty stupid to have sex in public. It's a private practice, and it's not meant for public exposure. Im sorry, but if you had sex in public and got caught, it serves you right. At least try not to get caught though.

well until you start having sex you will not know where or when you will want to have it because it can be very addicting in the beginning and especially when you really want it and you cant settle for waiting. i've never had the good deed in public but if my partner wasint aging so responsibly, i would honestly i would good luck with virginity and wait for you perfect time and be safe you dont want to get something your first time especially if there is no cure for it.

Now...just for future reference and with that above quotation in mind...please FLY a plane or CUT a chest...BEFORE...you so graciously "donate your expertise" to the jet pilot or the heart surgeon!

They ...PROBABLY...won't be very receptive of your "imaginings", either... :-)

I have been told that it gets addicting, and I can go around feeling good about not contracting anything. Still if you can't wait to be in a private place, it still does serve someone right when they get fined for it.

I'm just putting common sense in this subject, I'm sorry if you think I'm giving expertise, but I was raised with common sense, and common sense says if you can't wait to be alone then you deserve to be fined and/or jailed. It's not my fault that my mom made many things clear when I was younger. I was always told that if there is a great risk in doing something, the don't bother to take to take it. Here's another thing for you quote Superfluouszeus, "To take small risk in something that is not too serious is not that bad, but to take a serious risk in something serious, deserves the forecoming punishment. In short, You risk something minor, there won't be major consequences, if you risk something major, feel the wrath of total consequences. Yeah, I may not of had sex yet, but that doesn't mean that I don't know about it.

So glad I got my "From Here To Eternity" moment done back in the 70s when things were far less uptight...and on a U.S. beach lol...but truth be told having sex on a beach really is overrated. Sand gets everywhere and I do mean EVERYWHERE! Takes days to get out lol
