If you ban the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile today, then you also have to outlaw ever trailer on the highway with signage and pictures. Service and Utility trucks with signage is also a form of advertising too. Hawaii, can not pick and chose what is considered advertising on the side of a car, truck, semi, train or airplane.
Advertising is just that. An ambulance with anything other then emergency markings is also advertising. Taxi cabs also carry advertising on their sides as well. If you ban one.... you have to ban them all.
