I happen to think their law banning billboards is a nice thing. I grew up in Vermont which has a similar law and it's refreshing not to be bombarded with advertising when driving down the road. The scenery is left unspoiled--and Hawai'i has some great landscapes it should keep protecting.
I'm not sure the Wienermobile has the same effect as a billboard--it's a moving vehicle and doesn't have the same visual impact on a landscape.

Wow. It must be nice to have something like that be such a high priority on the list of issues on hand in your state. Yay. No billboards, and we banned the Weinermobile! All is right with the world.

Get a life and focus on real problems. This isn't a billboard and hasen't the same affect on the landscape. It's temporarily here & there. It's an American icon that kids love to see, and would bring a smile to my face. Hi has real problems. They passed an Obama-like health care bill and cancelled it 7 months later. Why? It was designed for 15,000 kids w/o insurance, but 82,000 signed up - 9 out of 10 who signed up cancelled their own insurance and tried to get a free ride off of the tax payer. Geez, those unintended consequences will get you every time.

Why do these people need the Weinermobile in Hawaii? They don't. Shut UP! Do you NEED the weinermobile in Hawaii? NO. Then SHUT UP!
Is the weinermobile a permanant fixture in Hawaii? NO. Shut UP!
Can Hawaii make their own decisions in this free country? Yes. SHUT UP.

Yea, it must be nice not to have anything better to do with your time than to complain about the weinermobile coming to visit. People get so offended and let the tiniest little superficial things get to them now days. Pretty soon no one will be able to say "Hi" to another person walking down the street because it might offend someone else. Oh my, people really need to get a life and mind there own business! That weinermobile didn't hurt anything, besides your stuck up attitude.
