It's Beach Day!

Nothing says summer like a long warm day on the beach. Whether spent on the rounded rocks of Nice or the flour-soft sand of Kuta, there's something relaxing and rejuvenating about lying around in the sun, reading your favorite book and kicking back a few strawberry daiquiris as the waves crash on the shore. Something that makes all of the miseries of office life, morning meetings, traffic and standard deviations melt away.

That's why we're dedicating an entire day at Gadling to beaches, those unifying swaths of silicon that tan our worker-bee skin, restore our souls, and make work oh so slightly more tolerable.

We'll be covering aspects from all corners of beach travel from the best beach gadgets to the hottest beaches around the planet to crazy beach stories from near and far. So forget about that TPS report that you have to turn in this afternoon, put on your sandals and crack open a Corona. We're going to the beach.
