Russian yachts to offer "pirate hunting" cruises off Somali coast
Please let this be a joke.According to several news sources, Russian yacht owners will begin offering "pirate hunting" vacations to those interested in wielding AK-47's and shooting at pirates off the coast of Somalia.
Tickets aboard the ocean liners, which will cruise at about five miles per hour in an attempt to attract pirates, will cost about US$5,000, with AK-47's and ammunition available for rent each day. The ships will be protected from pirates by private security guards made up of ex-special forces troops.

I spent a lot of time tracking down this story for a possible blog post. So far as I can tell it is a complete fiction. Most of the stories trace back to an article in an Austrian newspaper that labeled its piece a satire.

Everywhere, there have to be people deffending every piece of junk just for the fun of it. Those " pirates " are all but Pirates-of-the-Caribbean-style pirates. Those are people who will cut your throat if said ransom is not paid. And I'm supposed to feel any empathy for them? Let me tell you that if I was rich enought, I'd go on that cruise ( if it was real, of course ), but with my own weapon selection straight from Ragnar Benson's collection, namely the napalm gun. No seriously, Human Rights is to me the biggest bullshit ever written, and yes, murder is a perfectly good thing in some cases, like this one. And as for them firing an RPG, they are too retarded to man it correctly for one, and my father served with similar models and told me they can't be aimed at anything further than 150m, and that's for a trained soldier, they are close-range anti-infantry and anti-tank, deppending on the warhead you use, so no, they aren't too dangerous. Yes some would pay for murder of human junk, and I m one of them.
Some of you need to review the code of conduct that makes us human beings instead of retarded sheeps that will bend their neck to any threat, and stop treating murder as an evil thing no-matter-what. The right to live is something to be earned, not something you should have no matter what you do. Remember that so far that was what human kind though until the two Great Wars and the Cold War scared the bejesus out of everyone until they tranformed everyone into a raging pussy.

Although the original source of this news piece appears to have been joking, it's quite disturbing to read the comments from some of the posters here. It seems that law enforcement in their neck of the woods has not done its job properly, and there are still quite a few sociopaths on the loose. The pirates can be reproached for many things. However, killing their hostages isn't one of them. But interestingly, that hasn't stopped these chillingly callous Ted Bundy types from advocating their murder. One can only wonder what other instances of human depravity they are also numb to. Perhaps it's time society reappraised who the real degenerates are and began dealing with them accordingly.
