I have family all over the world and I've been using the AT&T plan for a few years now. It's certainly made it easy for me to stay in touch with family - whether at home or abroad. I use the WorldTraveler Plan and and WorldConnect so I can use my cell phone outside the US and call family members from that cell phone while at home and not lose my shirt for the privilege :)
