Photo of the Day (06/11/09)

I've always been a fan of a very wide-angle lens. It's the only way to really feel like you're there, and this picture, taken by Adam Baker is the perfect example. While most pocket cameras shoot as wide as 28mm, his DSLR took this picture at a wide 10mm.
It kind of makes you feel like you're at the Big Sur area of California, which is a big part of why we take pictures, isn't it?

That shot was taken at Andrew Molera State Park, which has spectacular hiking, as well as a great strip of beach and a sweet little camping area. It even has some of the oldest buildings in Big Sur!
