Maybe I half-read the article, or I don't get the point.
Here are a few items in the netbook that you don't spec out:
- Motherboard, to connect things together.
- Case, to put protect things.
- Keyboard and mouse, to input things.
- Monitor, to see things
There is no way you can build anything as small or light as a netbook, so you have to include the size and weight in to the equation. I would just love to see a backpacker with a PC in tow, even an USFF.
I find that 90$ 'more' is well worth it.
