Oh please..it's their choice. Everyone starts out at the bottom of the totem poll and has to work their way up the "food chain". No sympathy from me! If you're going to complain about how rough you have it, get a different job!

Actually, those pilots who lost their lives in BUF didnt complain. They did what they had to do to survive doing a job that pays so little ($18,000) that the First Officier lived at home with her parents across the country. Long hours, low pay, constantly changing schedules make it hard for pilots to do their best. Will the profession find a way to attract the best and the brightest, even if the pay and benefits and schedules are not enticing? Do those years of paying your dues and poverty build character and allow the best to rise to the top, or are they just exhausting and disheartening -- and dangerous?
Remember, the most important safety feature onboard your flight is your CREW.
