Delta plane diverts after food poisoning scare
A Delta flight on its way to Atlanta had to make an unscheduled stop at Orlando International Airport to offload three passengers suffering from food poisoning.The plane had departed Ecuador, but the condition of the three passengers was serious enough to warrant an early stop to get some medical attention. Two of the passengers were transported to a local hospital, the third refused any help.
The passengers did not become ill from any of the food served on the plane and it is not immediately clear whether they were traveling together.
None of the other passengers on the flight became ill, but I'm sure they were not too thrilled by the 3 hour delay. The Delta Airlines site shows the course of events, and clearly shows the delay and diversion.

If you eat food from a third world country i.e Ecuador /Mexico you have to have a stomach like a dog that can eat garbage !I wont even rinse my mouth out with the water in Mexico after brushing my teeth.I seen more sick people from cruises and tourist all shetting themselves to death.I would never go back to either place.

I am afraid to go anywhere anymore. There is so much sickness happening from one country to another. Planes, cruises and so on. What the heck is going on? Why do people go to Mexico if the water is so tainted. Mexico is not that great that you have to chance getting sick. No thank you!

did you even read this article? It was food poisoning, from food not even from the plane. HELLLO?????????! I feel sorry for people like you that live in irrational fear everyday, you must be a very unhappy person!

I guess people do not realize that YOU can get food poisining ANYWHERE. Even in the U.S. the food is NOT that great either.

Americans have lost their ability to fight bacteria due to our obsession with sterility in our foods and elsewhere. I am not suggesting we intentionally contaminate our food to build resistance, but if we were a little less finicky about cleanliness, our bodies would have natural resistance to these bacteria and we would be much more able to travel and eat as we wished.
