Smut bust at Sweden's airport authority: 7 fired, 1 quit
Sweden's airport authority had problems with its computer systems ... caused by porn. An investigation has revealed that LFV Group employees were passing the time on adult websites while at work. Seven have been fired, and one employee quit as a result. Particularly loathsome is the fact that some of these employees accessed at least one website with child pornography.
This behavior was discovered because LFV wanted to know why its network was running slowly.
LFV doesn't suspect coordinated activity among the employees responsible, as they worked in different facilities across Sweden. But, there is a common thread: they spent large chunks of their workdays focused on porn sites – in some cases up to 75 percent of the day.

The TSA gets off on their power. They act like Gestapo agents.

Shouldn't or didn't these European geniuses realize that each time they access an Internet site a web browser cookie with i.p. address is created and over time can end up clogging the server with hundreds or thousands of these records, which of course impacts the performance of the server? Unscrupulous employees should realize when using company computers that have Internet access, its not like using their own private home computer or laptop becauase they cannot hide the evidence by deleting traces of their activities. At work that activity is located on the main server, and only the administrater has access to the evidence. Yet Europeans are suppose to be ahead. LOL!

I think your joke needs to be talored in order to seem convincing.

This whole TSA BS is a horrendous waste of money and time for everybody. What they need to do is hardened the cockpit doors and separate the ventilation system of the cockpit. Make a passing window similar to the bank tellers for the stewards to service the pilots & equip the plane with sleeping gas. Should the Terrorist take the plane. The Captain releases the gas put everybody including the terrorist to sleep and lands the plane @ the closest airport.

I find it hilarious how you never hear about the great catches or good things TSA officers do. I guess that wouldn't make good news. I work for TSA and we are not all uneducated, power hungry, idiots as so many people assume. Most of us are good, hard working people, who are just doing our jobs. A job that many of us believe has a higher purpose than what's seen on the surface. The job is harder than you think and passengers attitudes and comments don't make it easier or make us nicer. It's funny how you'll hear on every news form about the nipple ring woman, who btw ASKED for the pilers herself (but of course it's TSA's fault), but you'll never hear about the white teenage boy TSA officers caught who was planning to hijack a plane down south. And you'll never hear about the many knives and guns TSA officers find each day throughout the country. But God forbid we take away your toothpaste or pat you down and it's a federal crime. You'll never hear about the many passengers who have hurt, abused and injured TSA officers during the screening process. Kicking them in the face, throwing things at them, biting them, where are those news reports? I find it funny how it's ok to take off your shoes at pools, water parks, shoe stores in the mall, amusement parks and such, but to do it at the airport to walk 10 feet for the sake of security it's all of a sudden disgusting and annoying. I don't get it. TSA and it's officers are not perfect, we will miss things. We have bad days and sometimes make bad decisions. We are human beings. All we ask is for you to treat us as such. It's our job to protect you from those who seek to harm and those who may harm unknowingly. We have a job to do and the job comes first, but if you'll remember to treat us with respect, we'll do the same.

That's why I do not fly anymore. Another aggregious act by the power-hungry and all too incompetent Bush administration. One of the worst airports for this kind of Gestapo behavior is St Louis. Salt Lake City is giving St Louis a run, though.
But so far, the highways are clear and, given all the ridiculous crap you have to go through to fly, take about the same amount of time to get to your destination. As far as I'm concerned, the airlines themselves would be better at policing the people that get on their airplanes.
