Note that the Proporta charger won't work with the iPhone or iPod Touch. It only puts out 800mA, while those devices needs 1A. An alternative is the Kensington Portable Power Pack which lets you plug any old USB device into it (and it works with the iPhone and Touch). The downside is that it only has a capacity of 1800mAh compared to the Proporta's impressive 2500mAh, but it's still enough for more than 2 iPhone charges.

Thanks Craig - I have tried the Proporta with the iPhone and the iPod Touch, and it was able to charge it just fine, though I'm guessing that the lower charge current means it'll take longer to get it to its max.
I've looked at the Kensington before, but picked the Proporta over it because of the larger battery and included accessories.

Always been very impressed with the Kensington products, so I would never recommend against buying them, especially when the price is right.
