Just an FYI... On-time arrivals, customer complaints and mishandled bags are not "Trivial matters". These are the top complints that any airline has and the 3 key areas consistently used when the airlines are audited and then ranked against their competitors.
After years of neglect US Airways has really made a change for the better in the past year and a half in revamping their baggage handlers and flight attendants. I fly 240,000 plus miles a year and US Air has actually turned into the best of the top ten airlines. SouthWest is great but they are only domestic and still not up to US Air or Delta standards.
