Reminder - 5 ways to win a free night at any Hyatt hotel!
To celebrate the relaunch of their Gold Passport loyalty program, Hyatt is giving away thousands of prizes at their promotional site "The Big Welcome". This past week, we posted our own 5 contests offering you the chance to win a free night at any Hyatt hotel in the world (excluding Quebec).
Each contest is easy to enter, and involves nothing more than leaving a comment in the article. The questions are very simple to answer, and if you are lazy, you'll find the answers in all the other comments!
If you have not yet entered the contests, now is the time to do it!

Travel guides are so important when traveling because they point out the things you want to see.

I like travel guides, particularly in the planning stages of my trips. I think so much of the fun is in the planning stages as when you are actually on your trip, you realize there are only a few days left and you have to return to your normal day to day activites. For planning, I enjoy reading blogs - put really like Trip Advisor. I also usually get a paperback such as Michelin, Frommers or Fodors or even Steve Craig and read through it and take it with me when I travel. These books also make great "souvenirs" and I have a shelf of them, all marked up and "well travelled."

travel guides help me appreciate an area more and allow me to recall the highlights when I reread the guides after the trip. A true win win situation
