TSA Joe said...
Firstly, Friendly screener has it right, it's not your bra that alarms the walk through. It's the total accumulation of metal on you. Hair pins, peircings, cheap jewellry, belt buckles and anything else you've got in your pockets. Secondly, nobody took your nail clippers and cuticle scissors unless it was in the first year after 9 - 11. A lot of us working there are victims of the economy. Displaced through down-sizing. If this organization was under my control, ALL of the upper management (Washington) would be replaced with people with brains. TSA should be under the auspices of the Department of Defence. We have the technology to discern harmful liquids and gels from jams, toothpaste and shaving cream. Start using it! Stop using the lowest bidder to supply the workforce with 2nd rate equipment that constantly breaks down. Fire all of the officers that are using the TSA like it's a step up from welfare. Give the jobs to the returning service people. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM - STOP WITH ALL OF THE POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. Search the people that need to be searched and stop messing with the rest.
