Ten reasons why you should visit New Zealand NOW

I just returned from a two-week holiday in New Zealand... and could not agree more with the list. However, I would add the following to the top of this list: New Zealand may just be the most beautiful country that you will ever visit.

In addition to the dramatic landscape, Kiwis are kind, friendly and laidback. Speight's is the beer of choice, and the "pride of the South" (and it's not sold anywhere in the States!). The South Island is amazing, in terms of scenery and activities. And if you love outdoor adventure, you may never want to leave. I hope to return in a few years to do some serious tramping in Fiordland.
