Wellington is New Zealand's capital city.
There aren't any cable cars on Wellington streets as they were removed in 1964.
The pictured car is one of two which operate on the only remaining track to carry cable cars/funicular carriages and it doesn't run on streets - it's a dedicated steep track which runs from the Lambton Quay in the city up to the botanical gardens.

Are you sure that you're in the right Wellington, Grant? ;-)
