In China, would you buy meat from this guy?
Central Europe, with the two brewing powerhouses of the Czech Republic and Germany, is heaven for beer drinkers, not only for the pleasure of pubs but for the loads of beer festivals that take place each year. Having been to my fair share, I thought I knew what a beer festival sounded and looked like.
Safe to say, not like this video from the Qingdao International Beer Festival in China I just stumbled on.
But that's not my real issue. My real issue is the dancing guy acting like he's at some rave, selling meat on a stick. Would you buy meat on a stick from this guy? (Perhaps, only at a beer festival could you even justify it...)

Once you taste those kebabs -- you'll understand.
Nothing compares to tendon skewers and Tsingtao (which is brewed in Qingdao)

I HAVE bought meat from this guy! I've also bought kebabs from a guy dancing in a Bin Laden mask. Evan is right, the kebabs at the beer festival are the best around. A little expensive on the China street food scale, but worth it!
The festival is a highlight of our year here in Shandong Province. I've had some crazy fun times there!

So you found that alley heh? Did you find the French Restaurant/Bar around the corner--LeBang? Actually I like Qigdao beer okay but the Festival is highly overated--prefer San Miguel. Go around the corner to Jack's bar/restaurant--he might have a San Miguel for you!
Tasai chen!
