Russian flight crew smoking pot mid-flight
You really have to see this clip to believe it. It shows what appears to be the pilot and one flight attendant smoking pot from a home made bong bottle on their flight.
The description says it is an Aeroflot plane, but I've seen others claim it is "just" a freight plane, which would explain why none of the passengers walked to the galley to ask about the smell (of to see if they could join the fun).
By the end of the clip the 2 are clearly pretty buzzed. I just hope the pilot has a competent first officer up front, or it's going to be a bumpy ride. If anyone has more information on the origin of the clip, feel free to leave us a comment!

This looks like the Galley of an old L10-11. As some others have mentioned, it is in the belly of the plane, and when you are down there, you can open the doors to the lifts, so nobody can get down there, without calling you first. Also the room is large enough, that you wouldn't set off the smoke detectors. And foreign carriers in the past were much more accepting than US carriers on things like drinking. Plus, this video looks like it might be 20 years old.

if it is a piolt he is not in full uniform he is missing peices, i cant say what they r, they my be in the lower galley of say a dc-10 or 74 and the flight my be what is called a ferry flight the sound on the video does sound like they r in flight. so my guess is that it is two F/A's and he borrowed the F/O's or the Capt. hat and they r on an empty plane

Enough with the drama! This is a flight crew (no pilots involved), probably on a return-on-empty flight back to St. Petersburg (Pulokovo Airlines) from one of those weed-rich -stan countries. This kind of thing happens often as the flights get doubled up due to an overbooking and and extra plane is dispatched to go one way, or because a plane was deemed to be having issues and was replaced by another one. In most cases, even if the flight goes back empty, there is a crew of flight attendants going back, which is what we are whitnessing here. No big deal, as crews on United are just more careful not to let this to be filmed and then put on youtube. n

I'm a American airlines mechanic. This is a true video. The video was shoot in the lower compartment of the kitchen of a old russian 454 plane.
You will be surprised how common this is and not only in foreign countries.

Hello all,
I want to correct you, that is not an Aeroflot Russian Airlines plane and crew. Definetly not. The plane is Ilyushin IL86 (a passenger aircraft), where there is a huge galley area under the passenger cabin, with elevator access. The crew uniform belongs to a St.Petersburg based airline called Pulkovo Airlines. I bet it was the last flight for those crew memebers.
This would never have happened on an real Aeroflot flight, where crew memebers have some work morale and a will to arrive as one piece to their destination.
