Lousiana Senator David Vitter throws fit at the airport
Louisiana Sen David Vitter missed his plane at Dulles Airport last Wednesday, and he was not amused.Vitter, who recently gained infamy after being identified on the D.C. Madam's Phone List, found his gate closed, so he went through an armed security door. Why not? He's got that Senator's pin, after all, right? That gives you access to all areas of the airport ... right?
As you might expect, an alarm went off as he then tried to verbally rip an unsuspecting United Airlines gate attendant a new one. Apparently, he even tried to pull rank. Come on. Would that even work in his home state?
When the employee exited to find a security guard, Vitter ran away. What a maverick. According to The Raw Story, "Vitter's spokeperson did not dispute the incident."

Darn, Sen. Vitter is just not very smart. Why could he not have trucked out to Andrews AFB, climbed aboard the Pelosi Air Lines (AF 3, if you are a nitpicker), and asked the pilot to swing a little south so he could bail out over Louisiana.

Typical. This is what we elected. 100 senators, 435 congressmen, 1 v.p. and 1 pres.; all should be fired. The Fed Govt. is like a fish, it ROTS from the HEAD down.

I don't care what party he's belongs to---these arrogant people think they deserve to be treated better than we who vote them in. He should have respect for the security system and the airlines. He's the usual egotist in D.C.

Ummm...I'm confused. The title of the article reads, "Lousiana Senator throws fit at the airport". Isn't the state's name misspelled in the title? Or, perhaps it's a hommage to the pronunciation used by the residents who live in that state? Seriously, what gives?

I'm sorry miss Cindy,we don't like immoral people in most of the South. Did you mean just Louisiana? I could agree with you if that's what you meant, but most of us believe in God and go to church. So please don't judge the whole South on 1 person. You forget about all the scandalous Northern Democrats!

We voted Senator Vitter for office..He is human and we all at some point and time get frustrated, especially when we have important business to address...Yes, I am proud to be from the great state of Louisiana..Friendly people, good food and great hospitality!!!

These are interesting comments about a man who lost his temper because he missed his plane.
Now lets take a look at a man who PROMISED when he took office he would eliminate PORK BARRELING,
Today he just PROOVED HE LIED. He signed two bills behind closed doors that are full of Pork, so much so that it is DISGUSTING.
I would think that would be far more concerning to you than a man loosing his temper because he missed his plane.
