Firstly, at least for now, that was a joke. They aren't actually making people pay.
Second, um. If I could fly as inexpensively in the U.S. as Europeans can on Ryanair, I would not even bat an eyelash at a pay toilet. I might LAUGH about it, but I wouldn't be upset because you can fly to other countries for around $20-30 sometimes. Can you imagine flying from California to Texas for $30? No? Then don't be annoyed that these people want to make ends meet in slightly odd ways.
