The little known fact about this new airline, V Australia is that it has totally outsourced to a third party their Reservations Department and Airport Check In. Effectively this means that as a passenger I am never speaking directly with an employee of the company when I make my reservation nor will I be checked in by V Australia staff. The reservations centre for V Australia is located in Brisbane and has been totally outsourced to "Mindpearl". The Airport Handling has been totally outsourced to "Dnata". Both of the companies who have been used by V Australia are associated with Emirates... Engineering has been totally outsourced to SIA (Singapore Intl Airlines)
I presume that it is just a matter of time before both flight deck and cabin crew are also outsourced !
It is most important to realise that V Australia is a subsiduary of Virgin Blue. Virgin Blue is a public listed company and is NOT owned by Branson as many seem to think ! Branson is merely a shareholder like millions of others in Virgin Blue !
With current Virgin Blue share prices at an all time low of 23.5 australian cents, one tends to feel that this new venture is destined to for a nose dive.
Makes one wonder just how many people V Australia really have employed !
How very interesting is this tangled web of deception !
