We NEVER stay at Days Inn or anything comparable to that.You are asking for trouble.

ALSO - if unsure ASK to see the rooms before you pay. I always make reserv. at at least 2 hotels when traveling. That way we have a choice if one is bad.

The WORST hotel we've ever been in was in downtown Detroit (the Omni or one of those big ones). I was on business, did not make the reserv and was not paying. If I had been we would have gone to another hotel.
