Crop circles are boring - it is time for ice circles
For years, farmers and other pranksters fooled the world with their crop circles, but now their tricks have all been uncovered, it is clearly time to introduce the world to something new.
Enter ice circles. This strange phenomenon has been spotted in several locations around the world, and you have to see it to believe it. The circles appear in frozen lakes and rivers, and the perfectly round circles spin on their own.
Of course, these circles are attracting believers in the "strange and bizarre" who will always look for the most wacky explanation to the circles. An overview of some of the ice circles witnessed around the world can be found here.
My guess? Someone is having a lot of fun watching all this attention to their newest pranks!

it looks like to me that someone cut the ice and you can hear the water rushing in the background so it has to be a small river and the current is making the ice spin

I'm not impressed. The current in streams naturally forms little whirlpools near the edges. It's how streams change course over time. I bet it was done this way: someone sawed through the ice in a circle and left the ice in place. Ice floats, so it wouldn't sink and float downstream.

I would have to agree that it is unusual. However I am still skeptical about it. I thought of the possibility of changing temperatures and the underlying current would create a circular motion making it spin. I would have to give this much thought. I do know that there are things going on, be it top secret government experiments or alien visits. I dont care how much anyone tries, I have seen objects moving at phenomenal speeds and making manuvers that nothing I know of can do. I have also debunked a lot of sightings I have seen. There does remain those that are unexplained. Just recently I heard a report that comes close to matching the very first one I seen myself. NASA has films of something coming in from deep space, being shot at and reversing course. They claimed that the objects were just meteors. Since when have meteors been able to suddenly and rapidly change course? Also there are more questions on that. Anyway,, I dont always believe in everything,, but until I know either way what these things are,,,UFO's do exist. Even project Blue Book still has some on file that are unexplained.

If perfect circles in the ice are a natural phenomenon, the debunkers might ask why they have not been mentioned in literature or legend anywhere on this planet over the past several thousand years. Have people only recently begun using their eyes?

I think nature can explain the spinning with the current underneath but i don't think nature would make a circle that perfect. Someone would have to of sawed through it, it is also close to the edge the could have found a way to do it.

Clearly a hoax. You can see the ice shavings around the edge of the circle. Someone could have laid a perfect circle pattern on top of the ice and used heat to break thru the ice around the pattern. From there the water circulating underneath allows the now freed circular piece of ice to rotate at the whim of the moving waters beneath. It's simple science. ...doesn't take an alien to do that!
However, speaking of aliens, I hope our new governmental administration will feel that informing the American public about the real informaiton they hold regarding UFO's, Alien abductions, etc. is something that we can "handle". I'm all for realism and education--how about you?

The "shavings" around the ice circle are just from the inner piece of ice grinding the sides. You'll notice there's more ice in certain spots, which wouldn't happen if someone cut through it.

There are no such thing as aliens. I mean if there were aliens than how come everytime someone claims a sighting its always a blurry picture or video. Also if there were aliens than how come they come to earth to visit but when astronauts go into space you never hear any stories about alien sightings or spaceships when their in space. I mean wouldn't the aliens be flying pass them in their spacecrafts if their going that way to earth or wouldn't the different machines that take pics of planets also pick up pictures of unusual activity in space.? people just want to believe in something.

Just because they've never been to Earth doesn't mean they don't exist. The odds of there NOT being alien life out there are as low as the odds of aliens actually bridging interstellar distances. Watch the broad generalizations; they make you look almost as uneducated as the saucer nuts...
