Brilliant. This is very helpful to me. I am using a Canon Powershot G5 and as much as possible, shooting on the manual setting. For Christmas I received a Gorillapod that I am only beginning to get the hang of, but it will give me much more flexibility (and stability) in shooting without flash for long exposures.
These tips deepen my understanding. Now, I need to learn how to use editing software more effectively. I don't have Photoshop. I use PhotoStudio that came with my camera, but am looking forward to getting Photoshop.
