Good description, facts, and then the kicker -- green grass in Antarctica. Doesn't it upset you to see this rare, starkly beautiful place changing so fast? Get you angry at U.S. politicians and their inability to sign a basic pact on international environmental protections?
Or do you take a more resigned, pragmatic approach a la George Carlin; i.e. "I'm tired of f**king Earth Day," the planet will heal itself eventually, etc.
Or maybe even a Putin approach: Cold is counterproductive; we need to warm things up a bit? Although it's hard to envision a new breadbasket region in Antarctica. Maybe in another 100 years...
