I highly recommend checking out the Traverse City and Leelanau County areas in Michigan. Chateau Chantal on Old Mission Peninsula is not to be missed. I stop there whenever I visit Traverse City. The views of Grand Traverse Bay and the surrounding vineyards and cherry orchards are phenomenal. And so is their wine.
