There are a couple great hotels in New Buffalo, in what is called "Harbor Country" -- The Harbor Grand (www.harborgrand.com) and The Marina Grand (www.marinagrandresort.com). There are also great historic inns and B&Bs scattered around. This area is not only rich in agriculture (grapes, apples, cherries, peaches) but it's also a haven for antiques and artists.
