The concept is pretty simple - spend money like you do at home, when you can. At home you eat - so do it the same way.

At home you don't go to a show every night. Walk around and see the free show of people watching.

At home you don't buy useless gifts. Etc.

Of course, this does not work if you are going on a spa vacation. At least the proces of these went down a little.
