"Sundowners" in Africa are most often enjoyed on safari.
Most afternoon safaris run 4-8pm, when the wildlife is active. Midway through the safari, the driver pulls over, serves snacks and sundowners, and allows you to stretch your legs for a few minutes before piling back in to search for nocturnal animals/hunters.
Today, living in Florida, we enjoy sundowners, but most of our neighbors call it Happy Hour.
