I've never seen shots compared like this before and you know what? It makes traveling with a point-and-shoot all the easier, since the pictures came out just as good as those taken with the dSLR.
I also used to be opposed to Photoshopping my images, but these slight tweaks can make a HUGE difference and turn a ho-hum photo into a frame-able piece of art. Now, I just need to find the time to edit the shots I take: that's the biggest obstacle I have to taking more photos.
