Other than almost losing my dd when she sprinted for the elevator in the Houston airport?
We flew to Seattle when my oldest dd was a baby & they lost her (expensive) carseat and all our luggage. We had to use the clunky old replacement they gave us.

I have lost small things like shoes - not so valuable in terms of money, but in terms of my feet they were my most comfortable shoes!

I've been careful (and lucky) to have not lost anything more than a water bottle. I like these tags. Thanks for the contest.

While serving in the Air Force in the early '80's I traveled to Anchorage, Alaska for a six-month temporary tour of duty (TDY). My job required me to fly in-and-out of Anchorage to many different remote sites to install radio equipment at the various remote sites. One of these trips took me to Nome, Alaska. Yes, Nome...home of the famous Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. In late November. Cold, late November. I checked two pieces of baggage, packed to almost busting with cotton flannel underwear, in Anchorage. Upon arriving in Nome, I retrieved one bag and only the "handle" from the second one which the conveyor belt had "handily" removed from the rest of the bag. The funny part about it as I look back on the situation, is that attached to this handle was a tag with my contact information in case the bag was misplaced or lost, and, a bright, yellow colored tag labeled "Handle With Care" in large black letters. I never got the bag, but have kept my "Handle With Care" for all these years.
